About the game:
An island once filled with light now lies swallowed by darkness. Strange ruins, forgotten paths, and dangerous creatures stand between you and restorating the light on the island. Tread Lightly is a survival-puzzle game focused on exploring, puzzle solving and survival. Use your lantern to survive, solve puzzles, and uncover new totems while avoiding the dangers hidden in the dark.
You were out sailing with your boat, when you got caught in a dangerous storm. You got knocked unconscious, and when you woke up, you were stranded on the beach of an unusually dark island. Therefore, you grabbed a lantern from (what's left of) your ship, and went on exploration.
Features
- Totems: Create save zones/checkpoints.
- Lantern: Manage your light resource and interact with your lantern by dropping it in the right locations.
- Pickup: Pick up different items to unlock more mechanics, such as jumping.
- Attacks: Fight back against nearby enemies.
- Hiding: Use bushes to your advantage when sneaking past enemies.
- Upgrading: Solve puzzles to upgrade your lantern
- Sharing: Exchange information with other players when activating totems.

Controls
- WASD - Movement
- E - Interact
- R - Attack
- SPACE - Item action (changes depending on currently equipped item)
- ESC - Pause/Resume game
